Sometimes even when ordering parts from your local Dealership with VIN# and all information that is always asked by the sales representative, you end up getting the wrong part! We sometimes trust it because its a genuine part, not aftermarket.
And we skip the "Match-it" before you hand them a check "procedure"!
This was a Friday and "everything " has to go by "Friday". If you know what I mean.
So I had to locate a known good used one to get the job done. Was in luck since it was in pristine condition. If you worked on plenty of this units you know that it is very common to see the pumps on these things being scored by the converter shedding excessive amount of metal, which is a common issue.
The problem was corrected and I thought I share this with you guys to be on the lookout for wrong parts in general.
