C-6 Transmission Teardown Inspection - Transmission Repair

This is a C-6 unit of a 1988 Ford Bronco 4X4. This is a governor and modulator controlled transmission. Here we see the basics on what to look for when tearing down these units, or any unit, the principals are the same. basically we need to bring this unit back to factory specifications and install upgrades to keep it on the road where it belongs. In this case we are going to install a shift correction kit along with all the necessary parts to rebuild it.
