ZF5HP24 Transmission - Broken Input Clutch Drum - Transmission Repair
This is another video on common issues with Tranny's. This Transmission is of a BMW X5 All Wheel Drive. It's a ZF-5HP24 and has a regular transfer case, unlike the Audi's that have a ZF5HP24A which is an All Wheel Drive as well but have a differencial on the side of the Tranny.
You will find this units in VW, BMW, Audi and Jaguars.
Almost every unit that comes in is a broken "A" Clutch Drum making it slip in forward or sometimes they will not even move forward.
