68RFE Transmission - Teardown Inspection
This is a basic teardown of a 68RFE Transmission of a tow truck. I share with you guys what I see on these and what I do to repair these transmissions and keep them on the road where they belong for as long as possible.
Keep in mind that these vehicles are used as designed to be used and the abuse they take is considered normal.
Hot Rodding ANY transmission, however, will cut its life short and will void most warranties, depending on where you get your transmission rebuilt or "remanufactured" at.
